Neil Hempsall organised a brilliant evening last week with our sponsor Chipotle and what a night it was! A massive thank you to Neil for driving this and for the team at Chipotle for supporting it so well.

Here are Neil's reflections on the evening:

The amazing real fresh food of Chipotle Restaurant, Putney, combined with some of Barnes Rugby’s incredibly talented real athletes from the Men’s and Women’s Senior squads last Wednesday 28th August evening where we launched our first partnership event to bring in the 2024/25 new season! Fifteen of our senior players joined the Chipotle crew serving line to serve up the most delicious, freshly prepared and healthy Burrito’s, Quesadilla’s, Taco’s, salads and Guac & chips to more than 130 hungry and thirsty Barnow players, coaches, families, friends – as well as many other customers! There was a real buzz and party atmosphere during the evening with familiar and new faces from all sections the club – mini’s, juniors, colts, whole families, lads, lads and Dads, coaches, some of our ever-present Barnow legends and of course – a full turn out of the Banes Media team of JK, Henry JK, Jerry and Marty to help us capture the evening in image.

A massive thank you to all who attended, from our player superstars, the many younger players, families and familiar faces, and a special thank you to all at Chipotle UK – Jenny, Jordan, Ben, Edgar and the whole Chipotle team for hosting such an incredibly enjoyable evening!

In addition, Chipotle are supporting the Barnes Rugby Tag Rugby events for local state primary schools which will be held on 4th, 11th & 18th October, where each participating player will receive a Buy-One-Get-One-Free Card. There was huge excitement and enjoyment had by all who attended Chipotle Putney at last Wednesday, Jordan (Putney Restaurant Mgr.) and his team are ready to welcome and keep us all well-nourished with super healthy food through this coming season.
